About us
Who runs Music Sussex? This website was started in 2000 by Robin Houghton, an amateur choral singer from Lewes (that's me). I have to confess that my day job means I can't devote much time to developing the site - some pages are a bit bare and I don't have time to chase people for up to date concert info etc. But I try to always respond promptly when I'm asked to add a choir or date. My partner in all things choral is my husband Nick who is a conductor, music lecturer and professional continuo player/organist with his own reproduction 18th century chamber organ (organ and organist both available for hire). Our own choir is the Lewes Singers.
